CSUI℞ is a new approach to developing, evaluating, and promoting search systems that focuses on how search users (and non-users) are integrated into the search systems. This work is based on the following four ℞ principles:
Recipe: Provides a recipe for developing and evaluating search systems that is user-centered and comparative.
Reception: Emphasizes the importance of how users receive, perceive, and conceive of the search systems.
Research: Relies on rigorous research in developing its evaluation criteria.
Review: Publishes comparative reviews of new search systems.
