Brief Bio
Daniel S. Griffin has a PhD in Information Science from the UC Berkeley School of Information. His dissertation, Situating Web Searching in Data Engineering: Admissions, Extensions, Repairs, and Ownership, explored the use of web search by data engineers.

Founder & CEO at Hypandra (Mar 2025–Present) Protecting and promoting curiosity. Building software for families and small businesses and exploring how people can work, learn, and ask better questions together.
