      • Note 0: I am probably not a typical search user (many of these are search audits or searches testing the functionality of userscripts or extensions).
      • Note 1: This does not distinguish multiple queries on some chat-based search systems (where there is one URL) and it does not include search-like chat-based systems at all (so Bard, ChatGPT, and Claude are all excluded from the start; for now).
      • Note 2: This includes local site search on my website and others. It also includes my use of SearchJunct (which routes queries forward and is not de-duplicated in the search counts).

      This is in part an effort to steep myself in individual search logs, to gain visibility into my own searching, and to push against the extinguishment (“or quenching; reducing to silence or ineffectiveness; total obscuring; suppressing; or eclipsing”) of searches.
